For 33 short years, from 1989 until the end of 2022, we, Sigrid and Frank Winkler, were the restaurateurs of "Winklers Weinstube" (Winkler's wine tavern), which was founded in 1963 by Karl and Anneliese Winkler out of economic necessity. In 2003 we acquired the neighboring restaurant and butcher's shop "zum Ochsen" and transformed this long-established institution into a traditional but not stale guesthouse.

The naming of our pension "Oma Marie" (Grandma Marie) is dedicated to the hardworking previous owner Marie Fick in memory.

Our extended living room, the wine tavern, is now continued in the same hospitable manner by our daughter Lisa and her husband Thomas Wiesbacher since 2023. Thus you will find in our gastronomy a good piece of family tradition and an excellent all-round feel-good package.
